The tape is exactly as described. The self-fusing property works fine. I used this tape as an end-seal on fire sleeve used to protect hoses in an engine compartment. The Isermal Silicone Rubber Self-fusing Tape keeps oil and grease from getting into the ends of the sleeve.

Just the kind of tape I was looking for to complete my project. Very good.
