I have used this tape for a number of years having orignally bought it on QVC (it is no longer available there). It lives up to all its promises and then some. The combination of high-temperature properties and ease of use is extraordinary (I am a chemist who worked for many years in the field of high-temperature materals–including those used in the space program–so know from professional experience what is good and what isn’t). I have used it on furnace parts that get very hot and on cooking utensils that have uninsulated metal handles. I have also used it where the thermal properties were not needed because of its durability under all conditions, ease-of-use, the stretch fit and unique feature of its sticking to itself (very strongly) but only to itself. A truly great product. I wish I had invented it!
